In this lab, we will walk through some of the day-to-day Control Tower administrative tasks and see how they are performed.
We will cover:
Create an organizational unit (OU) and enable a control using the AWS Control Tower dashboard.
Modify the Network configuration of Account Factory.
Launch a new AWS Account using Account Factory as an AWS Control Tower Admin user.
Log into the new AWS Account.
Moving an account between OUs

Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC) lets you provision a logically isolated section of the AWS Cloud where you can launch AWS resources in a virtual network that you define. You have complete control over your virtual networking environment, including selection of your own IP address range, creation of subnets, and configuration of route tables and network gateways. You can use both IPv4 and IPv6 in your VPC for secure and easy access to resources and applications.
In this lab, you will learn how to set up a VPC with public and private subnets, connect it to the internet and establish private connections to AWS services.
Estimated duration for each section of this workshop:
VPC Fundamentals: 60 minutes
Multiple VPCs: 45 minutes
Security Controls: 45 minutes
Connecting to On-Premises: 45 minutes
Connecting to SDWAN: 45 minutes
Networking Monitoring: 30 minutes
This workshop teaches best practices for securing Amazon API Gateway against OWASP API Security Top 10 risks. You'll learn how to implement identity and access management, validate input data, minimize DDoS surface area with CORS/rate limits, integrate WAF rules, and enable detailed logging/tracing.

Amazon S3 Storage Lens provides a single view of object storage usage and activity across your entire Amazon S3 storage. It includes drill-down options to generate insights at the organization, account, Region, bucket, or even prefix level.
S3 Storage Lens aggregates your metrics and displays the information in the Account snapshot section on the Amazon S3 console Buckets page. S3 Storage Lens also provides an interactive dashboard that you can use to visualize insights and trends, flag outliers, and receive recommendations for optimizing storage costs and applying data protection best practices. You can use S3 Storage Lens through the AWS Management Console, AWS CLI, AWS SDKs, or REST API.
In this builders session, you'll use a pre-populated dashboard in an interactive group setting to learn how S3 Storage Lens can provide data insights about your Amazon S3 storage.
This workshop is divided into four separate labs:
Deploy a CloudFormation template to create a prepared environment
Optional - Create a custom Amazon S3 Storage Lens dashboard
Learn how to navigating Amazon S3 Storage Lens
Gain insights with Amazon S3 Storage Lens by answering questions
This is a 200-level session. Attendees should have some hands-on experience with Amazon S3.
After this session, you will gain hands-on experience with S3 Storage Lens.
Complexity level : 300 - Advanced

In this workshop, you will embark on a comprehensive journey through the world of Generative AI Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), exploring multiple approaches from managed solutions to advanced, modular architectures. You'll work with Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and other AWS services to build sophisticated RAG systems that can effectively retrieve and generate contextually relevant responses from diverse data sources. Throughout the workshop, you'll learn to use services like Amazon Q Business, create knowledge bases, experiment with embedding models, and develop advanced techniques for data preparation, retrieval optimization, and response generation. As you progress through this workshop, you'll gain practical experience solving real-world use cases such as technical documentation assistance, API exploration, and complex query answering. You'll discover how to tackle challenges like improving retrieval relevance, handling multi-modal data, and evaluating RAG system performance. By the end of the workshop, you'll have hands-on experience with techniques ranging from simple RAG implementations to advanced, modular approaches that can be applied across various industries and domains. Whether you're a developer, data scientist, or AI enthusiast, this workshop will provide you with the skills to build intelligent, context-aware generative AI solutions using cutting-edge AWS technologies.
